    Bursting with flavor and lots of vibrant colors, aloo gobi matar sabzi is a Pakistani vegetarian recipe that can be served as a main meal or as a side dish with rice or roti.

    This aloo ki tarkari (potato curry) is similar to the one that you get at the halwa puri stall, just more hygienic. It's a vegetarian recipe that is super simple to make, and tastes delicious with puri, paratha or kachori. All you need is achaar on the side.

    Onion pakora, pyaz pakora or onion fritters are a Pakistani / Indian appetizer made with sliced onion and coriander coated with a spicy chickpea flour batter and  deep-fried till crispy.

    Similar to a burger but far spicier, a bun kabab is the proverbial Pakistani street food snack. It features a potato and lentils patty in a tawa toasted burger bun, with lots of green chutney and sliced vegetables.

    Similar to potato fritters, aloo pakora or aloo pakoda (in Hindi) are a traditional Pakistani / Indian appetizer of sliced potatoes that are coated with a spicy chickpea flour batter and  deep-fried till golden brown.

    Similar to Greek yoghurt, hung curd is made by draining the liquid whey from fresh yogurt or dahi. It can be used in dips, marinades or parfaits.
